Ce n&#39;est donc que trois ans plus tard que la France se d&eacute;cide &agrave; prendre possession de ce petit territoire, que Gambetta d&eacute;finissait comme &laquo;l&#39;annexe n&eacute;cessaire&raquo; de l&#39;Alg&eacute;rie. La revendication nationaliste se fera sentir d&egrave;s 1907 avec la naissance du mouvement des &laquo;Jeunes tunisiens&raquo;.
