C&rsquo;\u00e9tait des amis de longue date. <\/p>\n<p>Bechir travaillait au port de Tunis, la cinquantaine, bon vivant, il \u00e9tait Hadj depuis son voyage \u00e0 la Mecque. Mari\u00e9, plusieurs enfants.<\/p>\n<p>Vincento \u00e9tait p\u00eacheur. Au moment des f\u00eates catholiques il vendait pr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;\u00e9glise, \u00e9tal\u00e9es \u00e0 m\u00eame le sol, les bougies, images saintes et autres objets de culte.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer, lui \u00e9tait graveur de cuivre au souk \u00e0 Tunis. Il offrait \u00e0 sa client\u00e8le de beaux plateaux, des vases, cisel\u00e9s de ses mains. Son commerce \u00e9tait prosp\u00e8re, il aimait son m\u00e9tier. P\u00e8re de famille, fatigu\u00e9 apr\u00e8s de dures journ\u00e9es de travail, il rejoignait ses amis avec un r\u00e9el plaisir.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est vrai qu&rsquo;il y avait parmi nos trois amis un tricheur, oh! un tout petit peu, cel\u00e0 provoquait au cours de la partie des esclandres, des contestations qui finissaient toujours par s&rsquo;arranger, ce qui amusait beaucoup les gens qui s&rsquo;arr\u00eataient devant leur table. Tout cel\u00e0 faisait partie du folklore de la Goulette. On trinquait \u00e0 la fin de la partie avec un bon gazouz bu \u00e0 m\u00eame la bouteille.<\/p>\n<p>Un chanteur faisait quelques fois diversion sur les terrasses des caf\u00e9s. Il \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 d&rsquo;une fl\u00fbte faite de bambou qui \u00e9mettait des sons nostalgiques, tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 par les Goulettois qui trainaient dans la rue avant de
