Pendant la Seconde Guerre, il est intern\u00e9 dans un camp de travaux forc\u00e9s \u00e0 Bizerte, en Tunisie. <\/p>\n<p> \u00c0 la fin de ses \u00e9tudes, en 1945, il quitte la Tunisie pour pr\u00e9parer l\u2019immigration d\u2019Afrique du Nord, et monte sur le Yehouda Halevy, premier bateau clandestin d\u2019immigrants ill\u00e9gaux \u00e0 partir d\u2019Alger en 1947.
