Le quotidien d’une enseignante juive en banlieue parisienne (TEMOIGNAGE)<\/p>\n

PARIS, 27 f\u00e9v (AFP) – Marie-Line Nahon, enseignante fran\u00e7aise de confession juive dans un \u00e9tablissement de la banlieue parisienne \u00e0 forte population maghr\u00e9bine, raconte \u00e0 l’AFP qu’elle est contrainte de faire l’impasse sur la guerre d’Alg\u00e9rie ou le conflit isra\u00e9lo-palestinien pour avoir la paix en classe.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’ai renonc\u00e9 \u00e0 enseigner le chapitre d’\u00e9ducation civique sur la guerre et ses justifications, et je passe tr\u00e8s vite sur la colonisation de l’Alg\u00e9rie\u00a0\u00bb parce qu’aseptiser les cours est devenu le seul moyen \u00ab\u00a0d’avoir la paix\u00a0\u00bb avec ses lyc\u00e9ens, souvent issus de l’immigration maghr\u00e9bine, dit-elle.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0L’an dernier, en seconde, une \u00e9l\u00e8ve musulmane \u00e2g\u00e9e de 17 ans et demi, mais qui ne portait pas le voile, a refus\u00e9 que sa copie soit corrig\u00e9e par moi. J’ai d\u00fb faire, pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 19 ans, un rapport sur l’\u00e9l\u00e8ve au chef d’\u00e9tablissement,\u00a0\u00bb raconte Marie-Line.<\/p>\n

L’enseignante reconna\u00eet n\u00e9anmoins avoir fait une erreur: \u00ab\u00a0Je n’aurais pas d\u00fb pr\u00e9ciser que j’\u00e9tais moi-m\u00eame n\u00e9e en Alg\u00e9rie et de confession juive, alors que nous \u00e9tions en plein chapitre sur la guerre d’Alg\u00e9rie\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9l\u00e8ve, d’origine alg\u00e9rienne elle aussi, s’est sentie attaqu\u00e9e. \u00ab\u00a0Moi aussi\u00a0\u00bb, avoue l’enseignante, qui est ressortie tr\u00e8s choqu\u00e9e de cette confrontation.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0L’ambiance de la classe a \u00e9t\u00e9 pourrie jusqu’\u00e0 la fin de l’ann\u00e9e. Nos yeux ne se sont plus jamais rencontr\u00e9s. Et je l’ai surnot\u00e9e d’un ou deux points jusqu’\u00e0 la fin pour avoir la paix\u00a0\u00bb, avoue Marie-Line.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’ai trop souffert l’an dernier. Je ne ferai pas non plus le cours sur le conflit isra\u00e9lo-palestinien pr\u00e9vu au programme d’\u00e9ducation civique,\u00a0\u00bb dit-elle.<\/p>\n

Se d\u00e9crivant comme \u00ab\u00a0constamment sur la d\u00e9fensive\u00a0\u00bb, Marie-Line affirme en le regrettant, que l’\u00e9cole fait de la \u00ab\u00a0la\u00efcit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9om\u00e9trie variable\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Cet hiver, il a fallu que j’accepte que des \u00e9l\u00e8ves sortent en plein cours dans le couloir \u00e0 17h00 pour rompre le je\u00fbne du ramadan. Certains ont refus\u00e9 qu’il y ait un sapin de No\u00ebl \u00e0 l’entr\u00e9e du lyc\u00e9e. Une prof de biologie m’a dit qu’on l’avait contest\u00e9e quand elle parlait de l’\u00e9volution des esp\u00e8ces. Un coll\u00e8gue de sixi\u00e8me m’a avou\u00e9 qu’il n’avait pas pu faire la le\u00e7on sur les H\u00e9breux\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Mme Nahon, qui avait claqu\u00e9 la porte il y a plusieurs ann\u00e9es d’\u00e9tablissements juifs pour choisir le public et la la\u00efcit\u00e9, n’a pas subi d’insultes directes, racistes ou antis\u00e9mites, mais le quotidien qu’elle d\u00e9crit illustre une d\u00e9gradation du climat scolaire.<\/p>\n

Au lieu de baisser les bras, elle a cependant choisi de se battre en invitant des sp\u00e9cialistes des trois religions monoth\u00e9istes \u00e0 venir parler aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves pour lever les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s et leurs \u00ab\u00a0id\u00e9es pr\u00e9con\u00e7ues aberrantes\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Cela a compl\u00e8tement chang\u00e9 l’ambiance de la classe\u00a0\u00bb dit-elle.<\/p>\n

M\u00eame s’il reste encore beaucoup \u00e0 faire pour \u00ab\u00a0ouvrir les esprits\u00a0\u00bb: \u00ab\u00a0Quand Amir Mo\u00efsi, un \u00e9minent sp\u00e9cialiste de la mystique musulmane, leur a dit que la femme de Mahomet ne portait pas le voile et que l’imposition du voile n’est que l’une des interpr\u00e9tations possibles d’un texte du Coran, un \u00e9l\u00e8ve a imm\u00e9diatement lev\u00e9 la main pour lui dire +vous n’\u00eates pas musulman, vous ne savez pas de quoi vous parlez+\u00a0\u00bb. <\/b><\/p>\n\n
