J&rsquo;ai  <br \/>retrouv\u00e9 cependant des Kharoubi en France  <br \/>d&rsquo;origine juive (nos origines sont tellement  <br \/>proches&#8230;). Ne vous avais-je pas dit que selon  <br \/>le Rabbin Eisenbeth, le nom KAROUBI viendrait  <br \/>\u00ab\u00a0d&rsquo;un nom de tribu : Ouled-el-Kharroubi, commune  <br \/>mixte de Renault, arrondissement de Mostaganem,  <br \/>d\u00e9partement d&rsquo;Oran.  <br \/>Le nom de KAROUBI est attest\u00e9 au Maroc d\u00e8s la  <br \/>premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 du XVIe si\u00e8cle\u00a0\u00bb  <\/p>\n<p>&#8212;- <\/p>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 vos questions, je pr\u00e9cise que ma  <br \/>correspondance avec Nantes a dur\u00e9 plusieurs  <br \/>ann\u00e9es par courrier classique. (C&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que l&rsquo;on  <br \/>retrouve les documents d&rsquo;Etat-Civil d&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie).  <br \/>Dans le meilleur des cas, je recevais en r\u00e9ponse  <br \/>la photocopie certifi\u00e9e exacte de l&rsquo;acte demand\u00e9.  <br \/>Une mine d&rsquo;informations mais aussi des documents  <br \/>\u00e9mouvants : que dire lorsque l&rsquo;on retrouve, au  <br \/>bas de l&rsquo;un d&rsquo;eux, la signature d&rsquo;un anc\u00eatre de  <br \/>trois g\u00e9n\u00e9rations plus haut ? <\/p>\n<p>Pour mon plus ancien anc\u00eatre une explication  <br \/>s&rsquo;impose : <\/p>\n<p>J&rsquo;ai simplement relev\u00e9, sur un acte de d\u00e9c\u00e8s d&rsquo;un  <br \/>membre de ma famille dat\u00e9 de 1840 la mention  <br \/>\u00ab\u00a0fils de feu Samuel Karoubi et de feue Fehri  <br \/>Tordjman\u00a0\u00bb. Il s&rsquo;agit-l\u00e0 de la seule information  <br \/>concernant Samuel, assur\u00e9ment mon plus ancien  <br \/>anc\u00eatre, pour lequel j&rsquo;estime la date de  <br \/>naissance d\u00e9but 1800 (hors document d&rsquo;Etat-civil,  <br \/>donc). La fiche d&rsquo;Etat-civil la plus ancienne en  <br \/>ma possession date donc de 1840. <\/p>\n<p>Mentions :  <\/p>\n<p>J&rsquo;ai retrouv\u00e9 sur une fiche une mention disant  <br \/>\u00ab\u00a0Mari\u00e9s devant rabbin le &#8230;\u00a0\u00bb  <\/p>\n<p>Professions : <\/p>\n<p>Mon arri\u00e8re-arri\u00e8re grand-p\u00e8re (Jacob) \u00e9tait  <br \/>\u00ab\u00a0Employ\u00e9 au Comptoir d&rsquo;Escompte\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 Batna (un  <br \/>banquier donc). Son fr\u00e8re a\u00een\u00e9 (Nessim) \u00e9tait  <br \/>Boucher. <\/p>\n<p>Leur p\u00e8re, Mardoch\u00e9e \u00e9tait Boucher. <\/p>\n<p>Sinon, je n&rsquo;ai pas de photo de mimosa (bien qu&rsquo;en  <br \/>ayant un dans le jardin qui devient  <br \/>envahissant&#8230;) Merci pour les photos de la  <br \/>cigale ! <\/p>\n<p>Et bonjour \u00e0 Axelle que je n&rsquo;oublie pas,  <br \/>certainement de la famille.
