Le roi Mohammed VI \u0153uvre pour faire rena\u00eetre l\u2019h\u00e9ritage juif de son pays \u00bb, publi\u00e9 dans sa livraison de ce mardi 9 avril 2019, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rappel\u00e9 que la Constitution marocaine de 2011 reconna\u00eet que l\u2019identit\u00e9 du Maroc a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab nourrie et enrichie \u00bb en partie par des composantes \u00ab h\u00e9bra\u00efques\u00bb, ajoutant que le souverain marocain s\u2019est lanc\u00e9 dans un vaste projet de r\u00e9habilitation refl\u00e9tant son \u00ab int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier \u00bb pour le patrimoine culturel et spirituel de la communaut\u00e9 juive marocaine.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, plus de 160 cimeti\u00e8res juifs contenant des milliers de pierres tombales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverts, nettoy\u00e9s et inventori\u00e9s avec des fonds marocains. Outre les synagogues, d\u2019anciennes \u00e9coles juives ont \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi r\u00e9nov\u00e9es. De m\u00eame, les noms originaux des quartiers juifs o\u00f9 nombre de ces synagogues ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9es pendant des si\u00e8cles, ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9tablis.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autres lieux de culte, tels que la splendide synagogue Nahon du XIXe si\u00e8cle \u00e0 Tanger, sont \u00e9rig\u00e9es en mus\u00e9es. Aussi, la synagogue Ettedgui \u00e0 Casablanca et le mus\u00e9e juif El Mellah voisin, fond\u00e9 en 1997 par des Juifs marocains ont \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9s et r\u00e9habilit\u00e9s par le souverain en 2016. El Mellah est le seul mus\u00e9e juif complet dans le monde arabe. Il y en a trois autres au Maroc, rappelle l\u2019article sign\u00e9&nbsp;&nbsp;Ya\u00eblle Azagury et Anouar Majid.<\/p>\n<p>Les ouvertures s\u2019\u00e9tendent au syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif marocain et \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 intellectuelle. L\u2019automne dernier, le roi Mohammed VI a ordonn\u00e9 que des \u00e9tudes sur l\u2019Holocauste soient inscrites au programme du lyc\u00e9e, fait savoir l\u2019article du journal am\u00e9ricain. A cela s\u2019ajoute la diffusion d\u2019une \u00e9mission radiophonique hebdomadaire sur la culture juive, qui met en vedette des juifs s\u2019exprimant dans le dialecte marocain, la darija. Le but de cette \u00e9mission est donner la parole \u00e0 des juifs pour relater leur enfance v\u00e9cue dans les villes marocaines et la coexistence \u00e0 laquelle ont \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moins.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Alors qu\u2019il ne reste que 2.500 Juifs dans le Royaume, contre quelque 240.000 dans les ann\u00e9es 1940, cet effort peut en effet para\u00eetre purement symbolique, voire destin\u00e9 \u00e0 renforcer l\u2019image de marque du Maroc dans le monde.
