Le spectateur l&rsquo;accompagne \u00e0 travers tous le pays et explore, au rythme de la vie isra\u00e9lienne, des f\u00eates et des rencontres, l&rsquo;exil des Juifs originaires d&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie, les fondements de l&rsquo;Etat d&rsquo;Isra\u00ebl et les complexit\u00e9s de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 juive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Jean Pierre Lledo est alg\u00e9rien. Doublement vis\u00e9s et attaqu\u00e9s, puisque fran\u00e7ais et juifs, suite \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement tragique, beaucoup de Juifs font le choix de s&rsquo;installer en Isra\u00ebl.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Mais pour ce communiste alg\u00e9rien, impensable. En 1962, Jean-Pierre Lledo \u00e0 15 ans. Sa famille reste en Alg\u00e9rie. Isra\u00ebl&nbsp;? Il ne sait m\u00eame pas ce que c\u2019est, sinon une entit\u00e9&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;un territoire occup\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb, \u00ab&nbsp;la puissance occupante&nbsp;\u00bb, l\u2019ennemi\u2026 Pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, il est ainsi influenc\u00e9 par ce discours politique orient\u00e9 et diabolisant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Jean-Pierre Lledo a pourtant de la famille en Isra\u00ebl. Un oncle, une tante, des cousins. Mais il n\u2019a aucun lien avec eux.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Pendant 50 ans il a reni\u00e9 ce pays et la partie juive de son identit\u00e9. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019en 2008, lorsqu\u2019il se rend pour la premi\u00e8re fois de sa vie en Isra\u00ebl, qu\u2019il remet en cause ses pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s et ses croyances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">A travers ce cheminement personnel, le r\u00e9alisateur, parti \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte d\u2019un pays et de sa famille, entame un r\u00e9el dialogue entre ses origines, ses croyances sur Isra\u00ebl et la grande histoire de la tradition juive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Ce qui est particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressant dans le premier volet du documentaire c\u2019est cette entr\u00e9e par la fen\u00eatre alg\u00e9rienne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son parcours personnel, se pose la question de la vie juive en Alg\u00e9rie fran\u00e7aise. Le documentaire m\u00eale l\u2019histoire du r\u00e9alisateur, intime, priv\u00e9e, \u00e0 celle, plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Juifs qui vivaient en Alg\u00e9rie fran\u00e7aise, notamment de 1947 \u00e0 1962, leur exil puis pour certains leur int\u00e9gration en Isra\u00ebl.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">En effet, Jean-Pierre Lledo est parti \u00e0 la rencontre de ces juifs originaires d\u2019Alg\u00e9rie d\u00e9sormais install\u00e9s en Isra\u00ebl. Medioni, Chouraqui, Charbit, Sultan, Fellous\u2026 &nbsp;autant de noms et de t\u00e9moignages de la vie des Juifs en Alg\u00e9rie fran\u00e7aise de 1948 \u00e0 1962&nbsp;: deux dates symboliques, puisque l\u2019une correspond \u00e0 la d\u00e9claration d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de l\u2019Etat d\u2019Isra\u00ebl, l\u2019autre \u00e0 l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black; font-size: 16px;\">Deux dates qui ont tout chang\u00e9.
