Le palais est construit au milieu du XIXe si\u00e8cle par le ministre Kheireddine Pacha. Le palais pr\u00e9sente des influences italiennes, tout comme les autres palais du ministre situ\u00e9s \u00e0 Tunis (place du Tribunal) et \u00e0 La Manouba.
