Sa boutique se trouvait au 25, rue Gamal Abdenasser et de l\u00e0, il alimentait en gros et en d\u00e9tail, le march\u00e9 de la bonneterie d\u2019enfants.<\/p>\n<p>Avec son fils, il tenait un autre magasin \u00e0 la rue de Constantine (actuelle rue M\u2019hamed Ali) dont l\u2019enseigne \u00e9tait Au Petit Paradis.<\/p>\n<p>Baran\u00e8s a compt\u00e9 parmi les commer\u00e7ants les plus r\u00e9put\u00e9s dans le domaine du textile. De mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s anecdotique, le nom de cette famille d\u2019origine juive tunisienne signifie en dialectal \u00ab&nbsp;chiffons&nbsp;\u00bb.
