The famous singer who drove all of Tunis crazy in the beginning of this century. Way ahead of her time, she chose to live as a free woman and to have a career as an Arabic singer and as a French actress on the stage of the Theatre Municipal. Enormously successful, she had a lot of lovers and drove everyone jealous. One of her rejected lovers burnt her alive in her apartment rue Durand-Claye before taking his own life.
